Lucknow players do the right thing at a Dance Sports event | Lucknow News


LUCKNOW: At least 13 players from Lucknow competed in the 7th state-level dance sports competition at Rockland International School in Meerut on Sunday. Teams from 15 districts participated in the event.
The Lucknow team was led by the general secretary of the Lucknow District Dance Sports Association, Mini Pant, President Sadan Kumar Yadav and Senior Vice President Nupur Singh.
Lucknow’s team won second overall performance award.
Siza (19-25 years old), Krishna (32 years old) and Nikita (25-31 years old) placed first in their respective categories while Shivli Singh (17-19 years old), Vishal Singh (19-25 years old), Avijit Vaish (19 years old) -25 years old), Snigdha (13-15 years old) and Saksham Pravakar (13-15 years old) won bronze medals.

Lucknow: The Postal Department, Circle UP, will be hosting the 25th All-Indian Carrom Tournament at KD Singh Babu Stadium from February 9-13. No less than 144 players from 17 circles in the department from various parts of the country will take part in 425 individual and team events, UP Circle chief Kaushlendra Kumar Sinha said on Monday. He said last year’s tournament was hosted by the Uttarakhand circle in which the Tamil Nadu team was the winner while UP was the runner-up. He said the former cricketer will be the main guest at the inaugural event.
