This refers to the technology where users use a default wireless protocol to enhance communication. In this article, we will focus on the origin of GSM and some of its major advantages.

About GSM Cell Network

GSM was established back in 1982 with it being an acronym standing for its founders known as Groupe Special Mobile. However, it was not until 1991 that the official GSM cell network was launched in Finland.

Until today, most of the mobile phones used by some users use the Palm GSM Cell Network. The network on this protocol is mostly 2G. Most people consider this network second generation because it is characteristically slower as compared to 3G and the most recent 4G networks. However, GSM played a huge role in developing some of the current protocols.

Just as its name suggests, GSM cell network works in Cells hence the name cell phones. The cells are responsible for connecting different palm phones to allow for proper communication.
